Do It Yourself Colour Therapy

Pop down to your local cheap shop or indeed any shop that sells coloured bottles. build up a range so you have almost any number of colours, the more the better. It does help if they have lids or corks as you are going to fill your bottle with water after first ascertaining your primary need. Tap or filtered water is just fine, I don’t really recommend pre-bottled water unless there is something wrong with your water supply, it has often been in the bottle for as long as 2 years. dead dead dead, if you don't have a choice, pour the water into a jug, then back into the bottle a few times to try and infuse some oxygen.

Close your eyes, take a nice deep breath or five and ask yourself what colour do you need to balance out your body, mind or emotions right now. Similarly, you can ask what colour will help or enhance what you are trying to do or be at the moment, or over the next few days or weeks.

Here are a few examples:

  • What colour will increase my confidence right now
  • What colour will help me feel better
  • What colour will help me heal from…. (be specific as to what you want to heal from)
  • What colour do i need to enhance….
  • What colour will lift my spirits
  • What colour do i need to get past...
  • What colour will help me achieve a more relaxed state of mind
  • What colour will help me meditate
  • What colour will help me concentrate
  • What colour will help me communicate more directly/efficiently or honestly. it may not be the same colour for all three.
You get the picture. It isn’t wise to ask for a colour to ‘get that job’, but you can most certainly enhance your energetic attractiveness, to improve your chances over the next round of interviews. You can even specify a  suitable job in your question, I.E, the best match or fit. Even online or mail applications carry energy, due to this quality some stand out and others don’t. It would be rare that only one person has the right qualifications for a job, so what colour will make you stand out, seem professional, or be a match for the best job you are capable of achieving?

In romance, what colour brings out the best in you? That is a much better use of the therapy than what colour will get me a boyfriend/girlfriend. It will work better if you focus on what you want to present or put out there, as you can’t change others or the course of the world for that matter. I know I know, it is popular to believe that you can shift 7 billion or even 1 person out of the way  so you can get what you want, because for some obscure reason the angels, masters or the universe think you are more important…… The thing to understand is the energetic change you can create for yourself here, which alters how others perceive you, the absolute best you can go for, is the best version of you. Ask for that, it works every time.

A colour will come to mind almost instantly, if you have to think about it, you missed the pure moment. It is common when self-diagnosing to dismiss the first instinct in favour of a second more practiced version, it is truly a bad habit and worth overcoming. If your mind offers yellow then immediately green and your thought is 'ahh my fave colour', go for the yellow.  If yellow is your fave and first thought, maybe you need it, consistency is important rather than playing favourites with your thoughts and reinforcing the very thing you are trying to change

To make Colour Elixir:

Select the nearest colour bottle you have to the colour that comes to mind and fill it with water, stand it in the sun (inside by a window is just fine) with the lid off. The sun solarizes, but it also purifies; any chlorine dissipates which helps to give you a softer water. You may even notice that the different coloured bottles offer slightly (very slightly) different flavours, even the word flavour is too strong for the subtle differences in taste.

Leave your bottle in full sun, usually 30 minutes is long enough, on an overcast day an hour is best but leaving it there all day isn't a problem if you are at work. Drink this water over the day, or next few days or even weeks depending on what you are trying to achieve. This means using the same colour bottle, refilling and solarizing, if you manage to have two bottles of the same colour, you can solarize one while drinking the other.

Fill your water bottle with it when you go to work or travel, so you can sip it throughout the day, you can keep this water in the fridge or not, the intention is to drink it not store it.  Clearly you won’t be wanting to drink from different colours or any colour all the time, but it isn’t unusual to need a sustained dosing to help come past anxiety, depression or difficult periods in relationship. As things change or as your priorities change, you can revisit this process as often as you like, you can target character flaws, undeveloped areas as well as psychological dilemmas.

Good Luck!

Self Hypnosis: A guide for Starters

First you need to be absolutely clear about what you want to achieve, this is the first step to good outcomes once you have mastered a few simple techniques. If you want a ‘zen’ experience you are talking more of meditation where outcomes are not the priority, the experience you have is. As all hypnosis is self-oriented, you can’t hypnotize to have lots of money, or meet a soulmate, it needs to be something real to you like being more confident, solving a problem, learning more efficiently, releasing pain or communicating better etc.

Focus techniques for starters are easier if you focus outside of yourself, get a candle in a jar (for safety reasons), light it and hold it in your hands, take your time just looking at the flame for a few minutes then set it down in front of you. Allow any and all thoughts that want to come, to enter your mind as you look at the flame, with each complete thought (I have to cook dinner, something that happened in your day, the sounds around you) take a deep breath and sigh it out, like those big boredom sighs lol. As you begin to relax your eyes may want to close, but keep looking at the flame a little longer, when the main thoughts have dwindled away and all you see is the candle, and all you want is to close your eyes, remember what your goal is and simply close your eyes, take some nice relaxing breaths, and let go.

Body Focus Technique: this is something most of us did at school and works incredibly well. Get comfy, (always know why you are doing the self-hypnosis buzz) close your eyes, take a few deep breaths in through the nose and out through the nose then focus on your toes, stretch your toes, count to 10 then release them, move your focus to your feet, point your toes to stretch your feet downward from the ankle, count to 10 then release. Every time you release there is a little rush of energy as the muscles relax, quite delish actually.

Move up to the calves tensing however you know how, count to 10, then pull up the knee caps, remember how to do that? count to 10, tense the thighs, count of 10. Keep doing this all the way up your body, squeeze your buttocks together count of 10, push your belly out, for the chest pull the scapula bones together in your back opening up the chest area. Pull the shoulders up to your ears, count to 10, clench your fists so thumbs are up making sure you can feel the tension all the way to your biceps by locking your elbows. Stretch your jaw wide open count to 10, this is all best done while you are alone or someone may consign you to the psycho ward, then squeeze your eyes shut as tight as you can then finally lift your eyebrows. last count of 10. If you aren’t relaxed now, you really, really need to practice this, also a great method to release pain areas in the body, aid in sleep, and general anxiety. Once completed remind yourself of what you are trying to achieve and do a slow backward count from 10.

If you want to learn something, using either of the above techniques when you get to the point of relaxation, you can introduce a black or white board, a classroom or a library, any place you feel you can learn and process. If you want to change a mindset, i.e. anxiety to confidence, remember a few things you did really well, that you felt pleased with, and imagine doing that will in other areas. The choices are endless, once relaxed enough with a few clues your mind will (gratefully) take over and help you out.

Weight Loss: Inner dialogue and your body

Not everyone appreciates the total weight loss achieved over years of dieting, For those that have tried dieting a number of times it is too easy to think of yourself as a failure rather than thinking of yourself as a successful dieter. If you lose any weight, on any diet, you are a successful dieter. Has it occurred to you that serial dieting is an indication that you KNOW you can lose weight? What's more, if you diet on and off over a period of time you also know you can do so repeatedly, quitting a diet is your way of taking back control in a situation even if it is misguided. I say misguided because starting the diet in the first place indicates you want to be something other than what you are,

The problem isn't the return to previous weight (or more), as this is only an indication of being released from a regime, or having met your goal and not having a new goal to aim for. There really is only one question, can your body survive what you do to it? Maybe you need to understand that a person who is over size, but maintaining a stable weight, lives longer than those persons who serial diet, It may be worth looking at a way to have your cake and eat it too.

Start with food focus, the absolute focus on food ensures you will overeat, wouldn't it be lovely to just forget about it and live a normal life, dealing with food in a way that makes you feel good about yourself. Let's look at where placing your attention does more harm than good.

Over emphasis on what type of food you are going to eat:

Wanting chippies and denying yourself them is a form of punishment, it is never going to work. It draws your mind to what you can't have, and keeps it there until you are almost obsessed if not completely obsessed with the foods you are trying to avoid. The chances this is in line with how you feel or have felt about other things, wanting what you can't have or are denied, whether by parents, financial constraints or that crush that didn't want to know you in high school. Learning not to care about what you can't have will help you focus on what you really want.  You will recognize some of these in other areas of your life, when you do, take the time to look at the fundamental thought, rather than the symptoms which represent the pattern of thinking, using blockers and switches works really well, it isn't immediate so persistence in using a simple tool will pay off big time.

Inner Dialogue:

Let's face it, we have all heard the inner dialogue spiel, but it was popularized based on genuine research, How we communicate with others is an indication to them of our character, how we communicate to ourselves is an indication of our attitude. This can be how we feel about ourselves (insults) and what we were taught. Poor teaching can lead to bad habits. Here are a few common (food) phrases that need to be monitored at least, stopped completely at best.

I'm starving: No you're not, you are hungry, you may have not eaten for a while but you are NOT starving, if you were, weight wouldn't be an issue. For many it is likely this comes from being told not to waste food as a kid, because there are starving kids in the world. The teaching is to eat everything whether you are hungry or not, the justification is starving, even if that means others it is justification nevertheless. It is the energy of exaggeration which can apply to anything and probably does apply to more than food if you use it.

The switch: I am hungry, (yep that is it), How you use it.Your inner dialogue goes something like this,

" I'm STARVING."   "That's not true, I am only HUNGRY it's time for lunch."

I just have to have it: No you don't, you want it, there is a big difference. As soon as you tell yourself you have to have something, it is believed, Setting up cravings, and a body held desire because you have conditioned your body to believe nothing else. A few years ago it was discovered that body cells understand language, this means it doesn't have to be 'processed' via the ears, eyes and brain per se. Every word you utter has an energetic attachment in how it is said and what it means to you completely, which explains the instant body response to certain phrases and emotions conveyed before a word is uttered. Have to is the dialogue of the addict, it justifies having something you know is damaging to your body, your wallet, or your life in general.

The Blocker:  Wait, honestly, stop, no in any sentence that negates the original dialogue. Use often, repeat every time, and before long you will notice a shift in how you think as the dialogue gives way to more appropriate suggestions.

" I just have to have it. WAIT, I am not doing that any more, HONESTLY I just want it.

These are two examples that can be placed in any type of exaggerated inner dialogue, when used often you will notice a change, that change is permanent, while you may still occasionally slip into the habit you will recognize it immediately so that over time it becomes a rare occurrence.

Taking the focus off the food itself and bringing it back to the core issues related to the food, makes it a fairly natural process to reduce intake without even appearing to try. These are long term changes rather than short term fixes. You can get a running start by looking at hypnotherapy for weight loss, with the charm of modern styles making it a cheap and easy thing to do, Here are a few links to my online Hypnotherapy Downloads, available from google play and downloadable to any device (yes apple has a google play app)

Know your Reiki

More and more attunements are being used as a means to self-heal but they were never intended that way once you moved past Reiki 1. They were the tool of the master practitioner of the healing arts, as it is only in recent times Mikao Usui initiated a resurgence in energy healing that has so captured the minds of westerners. It is to be noted Usui was no slouch, he was a well educated and well trained individual holding a doctorate in theology gained in Chicago he set about taking his spiritual beliefs and applying them to health practices for the masses. As a devout Buddhist any assertion that Reiki has Christian origins were introduced much later by Hawayo Takata, who specifically wanted to expand the reach of Reiki practices into the western world and in so doing gained many wealthy entrepreneurial spirit hunters who were disillusioned with standard theological definitions and guidelines.

It is also a mistake to think this practice stemmed from a Buddhists interest in the methods of Jesus in the recounted healing miracles of the bible for obvious reasons, but let's add to that Shugendo, an ancient and still used energy practice which likely forms the basis of modern Reiki. It is believed that Usui took at least one mountain journey in which he developed the ability to channel energy, the details are a bit sketchy but he would be well aware of Shugendo, which incorporates Shinto and Buddhist practices.

Roles of Shugendo practitioners include offering religious services such as divination, prayer ritual incantations and even exorcism. He was an unfailing student of God but more, I personally believe he was an unfailing student of belief and how it structures your life. In his lifetime he attuned only 16 masters of Usui Shiki Ryoho but attuned over 2000 individuals, he definitely saw a difference between attuning for healing and being a master of healing others, unfortunately this distinction seems to be lost today.

The simple act of expanding is mind blowing for some, while others have found it not to be such a big deal, usually this is determined by the frequency itself. That is if you are using the frequency already, you won't feel an appreciable expansion, you might miss that feeling of euphoria, the wonderful dreams and that odd but satisfying feeling of wandering around with a dumb smile on your face for no reason.  I felt these when attuning to Seichim to which I gained Master/Teacher status way before I had enough experience to comfortably wear the title. In my Reiki attunements, which came later, there was less of a buzz, but when the two were fused to create Reichim it nearly blew my mind for a while. I was overwhelmed with sensations, images, visions, recollections and a whole gamut of experiential information, and so began what I have come to call my accelerated year of learning. It is also the beginning of understanding the vibrant and incredibly complex nature of vibrational medicine and the limitations bought about by singular frequency practices.

Guilt: Life Inhibitor

Guilt holds so many traps and obstacles that it is difficult to know where to start. Many of us are taught to feel guilty from a young age, with starving Ethiopians being the standard to get you to eat copious amounts of food when you were a child. For still others there is the blame apportioned to them as children because their father left or their mother had a headache. The less recognizable insidious methods in which blame is poured onto young minds is from schools where punishment is meted out to a class due to the actions of one or when an adult has trauma or difficulty in their life, the children around them are made to feel their own actions are somehow the cause.

Life can be difficult enough to navigate without the hidden aspects of undeserved guilt. Don't get me wrong, there are no doubt things you should feel guilty for, but only if they happened today, If you have an event that goes back far enough it can't be fixed in some way, then learning to accept the error of your ways is the fastest way to move on. Our courts function in this manner, feel remorse and all is forgiven, minus the due consequence of course. Like all our emotions guilt has a purpose, those who don't feel guilt in any way are our sociopaths and potentially psychopathic. Even a narcissist feels guilt at times, they just temper it with what they think the world owes them and so find it easy to put aside, or it flares as bad behaviour towards other less important mortals.

For you today guilt can be firmly put in it's place, it is a barometer of behaviours, if you have a lot of things you feel guilty about, then you have some behaviours YOU are not happy with, Guilt never has anything to do with anything else, Do you feel guilty for lying to make someone else feel happy? Chances are you don't, let's face it, we have all told that 'you are looking great' lie. Guilt in itself describes your values to you, if you don't like liars you will be struck down by guilt when you behave that way, If you find yourself talking about someone behind their back but have consistently mentioned how you dislike that sort of thing, you will be struck by guilt. It isn't honesty that drives a criminal to confess or a person having an affair to tell all to their spouse, often the latter does more damage than not telling ever would have. What it does, is alleviates that ongoing feeling of guilt. I am of the notion that if what you did was bad enough for you to feel guilt that can't be assuaged without unnecessarily hurting someone, then you deserve it, hold it and promise yourself never to do that again. In the case of the criminal, they are looking for the punishment to help alleviate the guilt, in most cases (including the confessional) it is in the telling that a person feels a lift.

These are easy to manage and evolve. You feel the guilt, you stop the behaviour, If the situation makes it possible, you apologize, trust me, that lifts the guilt too, but in all cases the single biggest factor will be in NOT continuing the behaviours that make you feel bad about yourself, Feeling bad about yourself is guilt in play.  For the guilt that comes from things you didn't do, or might do, or when guilt has become a way of life, this hypnosis will put it right where it belongs. at the edge of your psyche, where it can play it's role as behaviour monitor and moderator, without affecting every decision you make, your relationships and more. It is in guilt that we feel undeserving of good things and it is in guilt that we hold ourselves in addiction, you can release past guilt and quite simply move on.

Tarot Tips: Five of Wands

effort is never wasted when applied to your dream
When trying to create something, regardless of what it is, there will come a time when you face material reality, that is the world at large. In this world few care about your dreams and goals and these might just be the people you need to deal with.

There are rules, financial requirements and other people all quite happy to stand in your way alongside nature and the universal law of being. That is the law that says your needs, desires and indeed life, have no more value than the next guy. It also proves time and time again, that life is what YOU make it. We all start out life's journey with a dream, you may not even be aware what yours is, but you have one. It can be subtle as in living a simple life, it can be visionary as in seeing the lifestyle you will live, and it can be complex as in wanting to make a difference in the world. The numbers of people who don't understand their own vision for life is quite staggering, but for success and happiness on the level you require it, understanding is imperative.

This five suggests you have stepped off the path that takes you to your vision while reminding you of that vision. It asks a fundamental question, what were you expecting? What are your hopes? Are your life choices taking you there? Sometimes this card is a gentle reminder that achieving your dream requires both protecting it and continuing the work to get you there. It is no accident that a complex dream requires flexible input, just as going large in your desires will require massive effort.

If you are not happy, look closely at which part of the dream is not being met, and then ask yourself what you can do, who you need to be and, not or, what sacrifice you are prepared to make. Those working toward their dreams have hard times,  go bankrupt and often lose relationships, but they never question their direction for long. This doesn't mean they don't check in to make sure the path they are on reflects the life they wish to live, and on that note let me explain 'being who you need to be'. I have used this term before and received criticism by those who say you are who you need to be. I am happy to challenge that by saying, you are not being who you need to be, if you are unhappy.

Your dream reflects something in you that is seeking expression, and therefore it reflects something in you that is you. Sometimes living the dream requires you to be more than the person you were taught to be and most times it requires you to meet your potential and learn to be the person you love being.

Animal Energy Therapy Training V.E.T

Working with animals is really quite different than working with humans, it is not necessarily simpler as you will find yourself dealing with the owner, their expectations of both you and their pet’s recovery or performance. After many years of working with everything from birds to cattle I would need to say that the energy you pass on may not be different to what you use on a human, but the way you use it, and your ability to engage the animal become a priority. Owners expect and deserve explanations. To this end it is important in a modern world to know what you are doing, talking about and offering.

The most demanding area I work in was racing stables, performance is the priority reason for being called in, but the welfare of the animal is always being seen to. These people are professionals and require you to be just as professional. You need to make sense and as such you need to be able to read the animal’s energetic information which accesses memory. This will usually come through imagery and directly reading the aura. Anyone can offer energy to their pets, anyone can offer energy to other people’s pets, but professional energy therapists are more in demand in competitive areas of sport animals as well as farmers seeking to minimize vetting of herds.

To that end this is a course for professionals or serious amateurs it is not necessary to be attuned to any single frequency modality as vibrational expansions are included as part of the training program. The program is one on one, each session is 2 hours in person via skype or other media. (hangouts included) Includes module materials that are animal referencing as well as aura reading modules using VET aura reading techniques. This material is part of the first module.

This is a certificated course attracting an achievement in V.E.T. Animal Therapies

As a distance education program you can complete the modules in your own time, each module has an assignment to be completed before moving on to the next module. Approx. 12 hours

Price: $600 full course including documents, sessions and ongoing support

Being able to read and report on an animals strengths and weaknesses is in high demand, bonding energy for owner and pet, special requirements in training and compatibility are always in demand.

Even choosing the right animal can be ensured by reading the animal as well as the owner to be, we all know a good match creates a great team, whether it is a cat, dog, horse and yes even a goat.

Understanding the implications of past energy carried as well as how energy will progress will leave you able to determine how issues will progress or even if they will. Determining behavioural tendencies can bring forward a complementary training style which could potentially save the life of an ornery pet.  Hands on work done correctly can completely alter behaviour, while informing the owner can give them options they may not have thought of, or bring an awareness of body problems that are not apparent.

case studies:

Rottweiler Aggressive.  Aura Reading found him to be protective of his family and that they owners themselves were a little scared of him,Giving him energy therapy in 30 minute blocks calmed him immediately, Encouraging his owners to learn how to master him saved him from being put down for aggressive behaviours that had him reported regularly. Brutus (yep i know) had 3 sessions with me in 3 weeks, making him very placid during the time it took his owners to sort out a program of doggie ownership.

Race horse, tired not running.  without going to the horse his trainer rang and asked if I felt there was something they were missing as he had thought this was going to be a good runner. I determined that the horse was eating purple flowers that were causing him to have a mild but consistently upset stomach. He went over the property and found a hole in the fence between the trees, on the other side a small paddock (not theirs) full of penny royal. Fence fixed problem solved.

Race Horse pre training throwing tantrums. There was a complex array of energy bursts from the horse forehead, I felt he was having a horse equivalent of migraines and that there was a small tumour behind his eye, giving the horse energy therapy, but felt the problem was not going to resolve. Advised a stop to training as he would live a longer and happier life without the stress of training. The trainer was happy but the owner said no. the horse died 11 months later of a hemorrhage in the brain.i

Calf weakening to the point of not being able to stand no one knew why. gave energy for around 30 minutes and felt he had a constricted throat and couldn't eat. stepped back to the fence line and continued therapy for another 20 mins, at which point he got up and started to eat, he gagged a few times but persisted, we took him to water, where I energized the trough (would last til it refilled), farmer reported the next day it was as if he had never had a problem.

dairy herd plagued by eczema, worked the whole herd as they went through the milking sheds. encouraged farmer to remove all copper additives to water troughs and invest in mineral licks. problem resolved itself but even better the following year, the farmer got me in at the beginning of the season to be sure when eczema was plaguing the area again. no further issues even though neighbouring farms had major problems.

Cattle dog, old and nearly unable to enjoy last days. Farmer called me in just to be sure, Gave snag (yep snag) energy for 20 mins, next day farmer reports the animal he was considering putting down running with the other dogs, not round cattle but feeling like part of the crew, while at other times over the next week he noted snag was 'pretending to herd cattle' in empty paddocks, i went back once a month for the next 12 months, then the farmer undertook to become a Vibrational Expansion Technique Practitioner. this was decided when seeing a bull freaked out at polling, went up and gave energy, the bull calmed right down and didn't move until they released him all the while i just had my hand on his neck.

I could go on, but if you have an interest in the training program feel free to get in touch and ask about how you can add this to your skills or start out as an animal therapist advocate.
